TideWeld Software is a Nova Scotia based company building high-end software and making it available to everyone. We are small on purpose, and we intend to stay that way.
High-end software, available to everyone
Serious professional software has a habit of being priced for large firms, sold through a procurement process, and locked to a machine somebody else administers. We think the quality and the access are separate problems, and that solving one should not cost you the other.
So we build tools to a standard we would want to rely on ourselves, then make them reachable: priced for an individual, running in a browser with nothing to install, and bought in a minute without talking to anyone.
TideWeld is a general software company rather than a single-product venture. Some of what we build is for a narrow professional audience, some is for anyone. The common thread is not the subject matter. It is how they are made and who can get to them.
Tide adapts. Weld holds. The name is the whole idea: software that moves with what people need, built so it does not come apart.

Most software is easy to ship and hard to keep. Our aim is the opposite of a fast launch: tools that stay correct, stay maintained, and stay understandable to the people who depend on them.
Correct before clever
Where a published standard or a known answer exists, we check our work against it and show you the result. A tool you cannot verify is a tool you should not trust.

Clear structure and tested foundations, so a product remains workable years after release rather than becoming something we are afraid to touch.

There is no account team. When you get in touch you reach the people writing the code, and you hear where things actually stand.
